Our patients can’t speak to us, so we value an informative history from the pet owner and a thorough exam by the veterinarian to help diagnose common ailments and prevent disease.

Wellness exams are typically recommended annually for healthy pets or biannually for senior pets or ones with chronic conditions. It’s recommended for puppies and kittens to have at least one wellness exam when first adopted/purchased.

After the exam, the veterinarian will recommend a plan that fits best for you and your pet. This may include additional treatments including vaccination updates, heartworm testing, parasite screening, lab work (depending on the age of the patient) and diagnostic imaging (chest and abdominal x-rays). The veterinarian will also provide an estimate before performing additional treatments/diagnostics.
